Katikati Food and Wine Festival – we need your help

This Saturday (19th Jan 2013) is the anual Katikati Food and Wine Festival. This great event run by the local Lions gets bigger and better each year.
We have a double pass to give away and are looking for a Nourish correspondent to really enjoy the day, soak up the atmosphere and report back. To enter simply leave a comment below or on our facebook page with why you would make a great Nourish correspondent for this event.
You must -
- Be aavailable on saturday 19th Jan 2013 to attend the Katikati Food & Wine festival
- Be able to take photos which may be published on our website and facebook page
- send us a report/story of the day by monday 21st 2013 which may be published on our website
The Katikati Food and Wine Festival features fresh food from around the region as well as the tastiest wines from local wineries including Volcanic Hills, Askerne Estate and Makaraka Estate. The festival will include cooking demonstrations and competitions, and will feature music from The Sound Workshop, Tony Edwards Trio and Double Xposure.
Where: A&P Showground, Katikati
When: 11.30am-6pm, Saturday 19 January
Gate admission $20, earlybirds $16
We are a FREE magazine celebrating fresh local flavour in the BOP & Waikato. We write, cook, photograph and talk food pretty much constantly. Yes I would love to! I am an avid reader of Nourish. The magazine is a constant source of joy and inspiration, from the design, to the photography, and of course, the articles. I love food, I love to learn about food, and I also love to talk to people about food, especially when it is their own creation of genius!
Hi, I would love the opportunity to remind or introduce Nourish readers to all the wonderful products which can be found in the Waikato and BOP. What better place to discover, taste and savour all these riches from our land! Award winning wines, an abundance of avocados, sizzling scallops, champion cheeses-and that’s just for starters! An amazing atmosphere and perfect place for food and wine lovers to learn, appreciate and enjoy. I would love to share the sights, sounds and smells of the day.
