Masterchef Nadia cooks up a storm at Kitchen Things
Five spiced duck with a simple plum sauce, followed by grilled pineapple with basil and lime sugar were on the menu last night at Kitchen Things on Maui St, Te Rapa. Nadia Lim, 2011 Masterchef winner, was there courtesy of Fisher and Paykel cooking up a storm for some of Hamiltons top Kitchen designers.
The Fisher and Paykel kitchen at Kitchen Things is one to drool over! With it’s very cool Cool Draw which can be either a fridge, freezer, wine cellar or pantry. It is definitely on my wish list! Beside the Cool Draw is the 90cm Pryolytic oven which even rotisseries. And then beside that making a matching set is the 90cm wide dish draw that is deep enough for your big wine glasses!
While cooking the duck and pineapple Nadia highlighted the benefits of induction cooking, super fast, efficient, precise and safe. To see some of the appliances in action yourself head along to Kitchen Things on any Saturday at 1pm from August the 20th. Vicki from Feast will be there doing a different cooking demonstration each week. You can get some great tips and ideas, grab the recipe, have a taste and see the equipment in action.
